Aethereal Epoch
In the fabled Epoch of Origins, when Aethereal Epoch was but a swirling nebula, the celestial beings Zephyros and Pyrrhos waged an eternal dance that birthed the world and its first sentient races. Legend has it that these ancient races were the progenitors of the Tek-Anu Dynasty, Nabu's Watch, Sumerud's Forge, and The Cogwork Brotherhood. Each factions claims descent from one of the four elemental forces: Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. Their advancements in technology were unparalleled, but their growing power attracted the jealous gaze of Zephyros and Pyrrhos. A cataclysm ensued, scattering these races across the realm and burying their greatest city, Zephyria, deep beneath the sands. Centuries later, whispers of Zephyria's location sparked a renewed interest among the factions. The Eternal Tides of Obsidian and Brass began as they fought for control over this lost city and its ancient technology. Each faction believes that harnessing the power of Zephyria will tip the balance in their favor, leading to a new era of dominance in Aethereal Epoch. In the Aethereal Epoch's annals, a cataclysm of unparalleled magnitude known as The Breaking forever altered the world's course. This great calamity was orchestrated by an enigmatic entity named the Obscurum, a being of unfathomable power and cunning. The Obscurum sought to claim the lost city of Zephyria, a desert metropolis long-thought-lost beneath the sands. This ancient city was a bastion of advanced technology, its secrets jealously guarded by four powerful factions: Tek-Anu Dynasty, Nabu's Watch, Sumerud's Forge, and The Cogwork Brotherhood. The Obscurum's invasion ignited a conflict known as The Eternal Tides of Obsidian and Brass. As the city teetered on the brink of collapse, these factions fought tooth and nail to maintain their claims over Zephyria's wondrous technology. In the chaos that ensued, one faction – Nabu's Watch – allied with a mysterious figure known as The Shaper. This enigmatic ally claimed to possess the means to repel the Obscurum and restore balance to the city. Together, they forged powerful artifacts capable of channeling the very forces of nature. Despite their combined efforts, Zephyria eventually succumbed to the Obscurum's wrath. The city crumbled beneath a torrent of dark energy, its advanced technology corrupted and twisted beyond recognition. But amidst the ruin, hope remained. For while Zephyria lay shattered, the artifacts forged by Nabu's Watch and The Shaper would become the cornerstone of new alliances that would rise to face the Obscurum anew. For centuries, the ancient desert city of Zephyria lay hidden beneath the sands, its existence known only to a select few. However, a millennium ago, the Tek-Anu Dynasty, ancient guardians of Zephyrian secrets, began to wane in power. In their decline, factions like Nabu's Watch and Sumerud's Forge emerged, each seeking to control the city's incredible technological power. The Cogwork Brotherhood, a faction of rogue inventors, took advantage of the chaos and began to exploit Zephyria's resources for their own gain. This led to an escalating conflict known as the Eternal Tides of Obsidian and Brass, a struggle that threatens to engulf all of Aethereal Epoch in war.
